Apart from the standard six airbags, active headrests and Vehicle Stability Assist, the CR-Z has several crash prevention additions to keep you and your family safe.

Hill Start Assist, for example, which temporarily prevents the CR-Z from rolling backwards when you start it on a steep incline.

And Honda’s G-Control^™ body structure, or GCON^™.

Tested at Honda’s Tochigi R&D centre, this system puts the CR-Z chassis through its paces by crashing real cars in realistic situations, spreading the load over the front crash structures, to ensure the CR-Z gives maximum protection in impacts with vehicles of different bumper heights.

It’s this kind of care that has earned the CR-Z the 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
